Union Vocabulary
OFFICERS of the union are president, vice-president, past president, secretary, treasurer, MEA/NEA delegate, and Region Council delegate.
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE is the president, vice-president, past president, secretary, and treasurer.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS is the officers and the association representatives.
UNION can mean two things. It really means all union teachers, but it is often used to refer to just the union's board of directors or its officers.
